The current opportunity is for a CDL-A Truck Driver based in Oakland, CA. This is a full-time local city pickup and delivery (P&D) driver position offering a competitive starting wage of $39.32 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday with various shift options, ensuring drivers are home every day, which is a significant advantage for work-life balance. As a City P&D Driver, responsibilities include executing city-wide pickups and deliveries of freight with multiple stops daily, handling scanning equipment efficiently, direct customer interaction, and performing liftgate deliveries using electric pallet jacks. The position demands safe operation of equipment, adherence to Department of Transportation regulations, and excellent customer service skills.
