Job Description

R+L Carriers is a reputable family-owned and privately held transportation company founded in 1965. With decades of experience in the transportation and distribution industry, R+L Carriers has established itself as a trusted provider of freight services across the United States. The company is committed to delivering superior service to its customers through efficient administration and innovative thinking. R+L Carriers prides itself on maintaining a strong company culture rooted in respect, honesty, and dedication to both employees and customers. This transportation company values the contributions of every employee and believes that their efforts are the key drivers behind the company’s sustained growth and success. The organization emphasizes diversity and equal employment opportunities, welcoming applicants from varied backgrounds without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, age, veteran status, or disability. The commitment to equal opportunity is paired with a proactive approach to providing reasonable accommodations during the hiring process, ensuring all applicants have an equitable chance to join the team.

Currently, R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Truck Drivers to join their Seekonk, MA Service Center. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional drivers to enjoy a rewarding career with a company that values work-life balance, as all drivers are home every day. With an annual earning potential of up to $95,000, this role is ideal for experienced CDL Class A drivers who want to maintain local routes without long periods away. The Linehaul Driver will be responsible for pulling van trailers up to 53 feet and operating double trailers between service centers and turn-point locations, ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods. The role also includes a robust benefits package and paid time off available after the first 90 calendar days of employment. Additionally, employees gain exclusive access to vacation lodging at several R+L Carriers employee resorts, such as those in Daytona Beach, FL, Big Bear Lake, CA, Pigeon Forge, TN, and Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

This position demands a professional with a strong safety record, dependable work ethic, and the ability to operate equipment safely at all times. Drivers must successfully pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screening, and a driving skills road test. The company also prefers candidates who hold endorsements such as doubles/triples, tanker, and haz-mat, and those with experience hauling hazardous materials or handling less-than-truckload (LTL) freight. Working at R+L Carriers not only provides drivers with competitive compensation but also a family-oriented environment that supports professional growth and recognizes the vital role of drivers in the company’s operations. The combination of steady home time, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and employee-focused culture makes this role a compelling opportunity for CDL Class A drivers looking to advance their careers with a respected leader in the trucking industry.
