With a history spanning nearly six decades, R+L Carriers continues to expand its footprint by leveraging the commitment and professionalism of its workforce to deliver consistent outcomes.

The position available is for a Class A Linehaul Truck Driver based at the Piedmont, South Carolina Service Center. This is a full-time, third shift role with scheduled working hours from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday. A key benefit of this role is the fact that drivers are home every day, providing a healthy work-life balance that is often difficult to find in trucking careers. Drivers can earn up to $95,000 annually, with the added advantage of earning one week of vacation after just 90 days of employment.

As a Class A Linehaul Driver, the main responsibility is to operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including single van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers, safely and efficiently between various service centers and turn-point locations. Drivers must demonstrate excellent driving skills and ensure the timely and secure delivery of freight. Safety is paramount, and drivers must adhere to all Department of Transportation regulations and company policies to maintain operational excellence. Additionally, drivers will enjoy access to an excellent benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and exclusive vacation lodging options at employee resorts located in popular vacation destinations such as Daytona Beach, Big Bear Lake, Pigeon Forge, and Ocean Isle Beach.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced Class A drivers who value stability, competitive pay, consistent schedules, and who want to work for a company that genuinely respects and supports its employees. R+L Carriers’ commitment to driver welfare and employee satisfaction sets it apart in the transportation industry, making this role a rewarding career choice for qualified candidates seeking long-term employment and growth.
