Job Requirements

  • Have CDL Class A license
  • One year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years
  • Maintain a good driving record with no commercial serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past three years
  • Be at least 23 years old or 21 if meeting FMCSA requirements for military to civilian CDL transition
  • Be able to operate equipment safely at all times
  • Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
  • Complete a successful road test
  • Be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
  • Be dependable

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Minimum of 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
  • Good driving record with no serious commercial violations and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
  • Successful completion of road test
  • Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
  • Dependability and strong work ethic
  • Preferred endorsements such as doubles/triples, tanker, and haz-mat
  • Experience with LTL freight and hauling hazardous materials

Job Duties

  • Operate Class A commercial trucks pulling van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and turn-point locations
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle
  • Adhere to all DOT safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and service center personnel
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and punctually
