Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum three months current driving experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screening
- Not suitable for students recent grads or trainees
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum three months recent driving experience
- Proven ability to operate tri-temp/dual-temp refrigerated trailers
- Strong knowledge of safety and DOT regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends
- Capable of performing physical tasks related to freight handling
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to complete dedicated route deliveries
- Monitor and assist with unloading freight at store delivery points
- Use lift gates and pallet jacks for inner-city store deliveries
- Maintain compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding delivery status and issues
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to shift schedules including overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to Noon
- Ensure safe and legal parking of trucks at distribution centers or approved locations
