Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- license to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with clean driving record
- ability to read, write and communicate in English
- touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility – overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- clean driving record
- ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- strong customer service skills
- physical ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- good interpersonal skills
- basic understanding of vehicle safety and maintenance
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on assigned local routes
- manually load and unload a variety of products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- build positive relationships with customers by providing friendly and reliable service
- follow established schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- maintain accurate delivery documentation and report any issues promptly
- assist with vehicle inspections and basic maintenance as needed
