Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid CDL-A with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing 40-60 pounds or up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Ability to deliver to multiple customer locations reliably and safely
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL-A)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Customer delivery experience preferred
- Experience using hand carts or hand trucks preferred
- Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Consistent work history demonstrating reliability
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer on assigned local routes
- Load and unload products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Manually handle freight with weights averaging 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products according to the schedule
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during delivery operations
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in and around the vehicle
