Job Requirements
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- 21 plus years of age
- must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- touch freight - may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 lbs and as much as 100 lbs
- flexibility - overtime as required, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- clean driving record
- minimum age of 21 years
- ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- physical capacity to handle manual freight delivery
- one year of customer delivery experience preferred
- six months of hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- six months of food and beverage experience preferred
- two years of consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
- manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, and dry goods
- build positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional interaction
- become familiar with customer operations to meet their needs and expectations
- adhere to route schedules and company safety standards
- handle freight weighing 40-60 lbs and up to 100 lbs when necessary
- maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
