As part of Koch Companies, a multifaceted transportation group, Koch Trucking specializes in truckload freight hauling and logistics services. With a strong reputation in the industry, Koch Trucking places a high emphasis on providing reliable, efficient, and safe transportation solutions. The company operates with a rich network of customers, giving drivers access to steady and consistent miles, which is essential for maximizing earnings and maintaining career stability.
Koch Trucking's OTR (Over-The-Road) division is now hiring CDL-A truck drivers. This division provides a fully optimized route network that helps drivers achieve a high volume of miles with weekly home time, which supports a healthy work-life balance. The role is designed for experienced CDL-A licensed drivers who have spent at least one year hauling flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers. New hires can expect competitive pay, including an average annual income ranging from $60,000 to $80,000. Top performers earn between $65,000 and $85,000 annually, with a starting pay rate of $0.63 to $0.70 per mile, plus an additional average of $10,000 annually in drop and stop pay. Beyond the attractive pay, Koch Trucking offers a $6,000 hiring bonus to qualified candidates.
The company provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Employees receive paid time off starting from the first day of employment, which includes three floating holidays annually. Koch Trucking supports its drivers with perks such as a free iPad with a data package, ensuring connection with family and friends while on the road. Additionally, all orientation expenses are covered, with accommodations in luxury hotels located in Roseville, MN, and Appling, GA. Drivers can also benefit from a pet and rider policy, a 401(k) plan with company match, 24/7/365 road service assistance, and a $3,000 referral bonus. The company’s Rolling Strong driver app and free drivers' lounge, stocked with essentials and snacks, enhance the driver experience further.
Koch Trucking operates a modern fleet, with all trucks being 3 years old or newer, and the average truck age at just 16 months. Their Volvo 860 and Freightliner Cascadia trucks come fully equipped with driver-friendly features such as refrigerators, leather interiors, double curtain wraps, double bunks, and built-in inverters to ensure comfort and convenience during long hauls. This modern equipment helps maintain driver satisfaction and supports safe, efficient travel.
Overall, the CDL-A Truck Driver position with Koch Trucking offers a lucrative career with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, designed to support drivers both professionally and personally. The company’s national reputation for fairness, quality, and driver support makes this an excellent opportunity for experienced truck drivers seeking stability, growth, and a supportive work environment.
