Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A driver’s license (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 4+ months of driving experience required
- Safe driving record on the road
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean clearinghouse results required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 4 months driving experience with a preference for 1 year or more
- Safe driving record
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and clearinghouse verification
- Physical ability to lift 90-pound tarp and perform necessary flatbed duties
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Secure loads properly using tarps and tie-downs according to flatbed safety standards
- Operate flatbed trucks efficiently and safely on OTR routes
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate logbooks and records of deliveries and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Participate in mandatory orientation and training sessions
