Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- One year of driving experience hauling flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work OTR routes with 10-14 day home time
- Must follow all safety and company policies
- Ability to use technology such as electronic logging devices
- Availability to attend orientation in Appling, GA
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum one year of experience hauling flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to safely operate specialized company trucks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to punctuality and professionalism
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspection and minor troubleshooting
Job Duties
- Operate specialized flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers safely and efficiently
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries
- Manage trip documentation and log hours of service accurately
- Adhere to company policies regarding load securement and cargo handling
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally on the road
