NALCO Water, an Ecolab Company, is a global leader in water treatment and chemical solutions that serve a broad range of industrial and municipal applications. Renowned for its dedication to sustainability, innovation, and safety, the company provides integrated technologies and services to help customers conserve and optimize water and energy use. As an integral part of Ecolab, a Fortune 500 company, NALCO Water operates with a robust global infrastructure, delivering exceptional solutions that address complex challenges in water quality and operational efficiency. Committed to excellence, NALCO Water fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace where employees are empowered to grow their skills and contribute meaningfully to the company’s mission of creating cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

The role of Customer Delivery Specialist at NALCO Water is a vital position focused on the safe and efficient delivery of chemical products to customers, plants, and warehouse locations. This position is specifically designed for DOT-certified driving professionals who possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License without restrictions for HazMat and Tanker, skilled in operating diesel multi-geared bobtail trucks, pup trailers, and tractor-trailer combinations across various terrains including city highways, mountainous roads, and rural areas. Offering an average hourly compensation between $34 and $36, this full-time role includes a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one, featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with 401(k) matching, pension plans, stock options, and more.

As a Customer Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials, ensuring the highest standards of safety on every delivery. You will perform daily preventative maintenance and mechanical inspections on delivery vehicles, utilize Samsara or paper logbooks to track hours of service, and manage delivery schedules to meet customer demands within a 500 to 700-mile radius. The position requires effective communication with sales teams and supervisors to promptly report any field issues or safety hazards, contributing to the company’s commitment to Zero Defect Delivery procedures.

This role is ideal for experienced commercial drivers who are dedicated to safety, reliability, and customer service excellence. Additional preferred skills include experience operating forklifts and various chemical-handling equipment, the ability to maneuver large vehicles in confined spaces, and a thorough understanding of hazardous material transportation guidelines. NALCO Water values employees who are proactive about safety, continuously improve their driving capabilities, and actively contribute to a culture of inclusion and belonging. The position offers travel between three to five days a week, with guaranteed weekends, holidays, and paid time off at home, alongside paid premium hotel stays and meals while traveling.

Joining NALCO Water means becoming part of a company that prioritizes diversity, equity, and equal opportunity in all employment practices. The organization encourages applications from qualified individuals of all backgrounds, including those with criminal histories, in accordance with applicable regulations and fair hiring practices. NALCO Water embraces reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees under the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure an accessible and supportive application process. This role demands a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and dedication to upholding the company’s safety and environmental standards, making it a rewarding career opportunity for driven commercial drivers seeking stability and growth within a reputable global leader in water and chemical services.
