NALCO Water, an Ecolab Company, is a global leader specializing in water treatment, process improvements, and resource management. As a trusted partner to industries worldwide, NALCO Water delivers innovative solutions that address water constraints and sustainability challenges. Their commitment to customer success is reflected in their comprehensive training programs, state-of-the-art technology, and customer-focused approach. Being part of Ecolab, a company dedicated to water, hygiene, and energy technology services, NALCO Water benefits from a robust corporate vision aiming to protect vital resources through environmentally responsible and efficient practices. The company fosters a culture of inclusion and belonging, creating opportunities for associates to grow and excel with an emphasis on diversity and fair treatment across all employment stages.
The Customer Delivery Specialist role at NALCO Water focuses on expanding their Fleet Operations to ensure timely and safe delivery of chemical products. This position is critical in maintaining the company's high standards for safety and customer service within a wide operational radius. As a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driving professional, the specialist will operate straight trucks, tank trucks, and tractor-trailers across diverse terrains including congested city highways and rural roads. Responsibilities include safely transporting chemicals to customer sites, plants, and warehouse locations while adhering to stringent safety and regulatory standards.
This role requires a practical understanding of preventative vehicle maintenance to ensure all delivery vehicles remain in a safe and operable condition, as well as diligent compliance with DOT regulations, especially those related to hazardous materials handling. Emphasizing safety, the Customer Delivery Specialist will also utilize tools such as Samsara and paper logbooks to maintain accurate driving and delivery records. The role demands strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with sales teams and supervisors for smooth operations. Additionally, this position mandates adherence to zero defect delivery processes and consistent use of appropriate safety gear on all delivery runs.
NALCO Water offers an attractive compensation of $35 to $37 per hour with an established terminal location in Westampton, NJ. The position includes a full benefits package commencing from day one, encompassing medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans like 401k matching and a pension. Additional perks include stock options, paid premium hotel stays and meals during travel, home time on weekends and holidays, paid time off, and stop work authority. The role involves travel commitments typically ranging from three to five days per week, with the assurance of returning home during weekends and holidays.
This position is ideal for qualified commercial drivers who hold a Class A CDL with no HazMat or Tanker restrictions and who have a strong commitment to safety and professional driving standards. Preferred candidates may also have experience with chemical handling equipment such as forklifts and drum dollies and be skilled in maneuvering large vehicles in tight industrial spaces. With a focus on compliance and operational excellence, NALCO Water invites dependable and safety-conscious professionals to join their team and contribute significantly to delivering top-tier service to their valued customers.
