This job opening is for a Delivery Driver position, a crucial role that involves transporting food products safely and efficiently to customers. The position offers a work schedule from Monday through Saturday, with two days off weekly, and varying start times between 10 PM and 6 AM. Employees will work approximately 10 to 12 hours per day, totaling 50 to 55 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime as needed. The starting pay rate is competitive at $35.78 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours.

Delivery Drivers at US Foods are responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service while ensuring timely delivery of products. Key duties include driving trucks safely to various customer locations, unloading products using manual tools such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, verifying delivery accuracy, collecting payments when necessary, and conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. The role demands physical endurance, including lifting and moving between 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift and working in diverse weather conditions with frequent stops.

US Foods requires candidates to be at least 21 years old and possess a valid CDL Class A license with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. Previous commercial driving experience is essential, with at least six months in any industry or three months specifically in food and beverage delivery preferred. Candidates must also be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse as mandated by the Department of Transportation.
