This job opening is for a Delivery Driver position, a crucial role that involves transporting food products safely and efficiently to customers. The position offers a work schedule from Monday through Saturday, with two days off weekly, and varying start times between 10 PM and 6 AM. Employees will work approximately 10 to 12 hours per day, totaling 50 to 55 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime as needed. The starting pay rate is competitive at $35.78 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours.
Delivery Drivers at US Foods are responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service while ensuring timely delivery of products. Key duties include driving trucks safely to various customer locations, unloading products using manual tools such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, verifying delivery accuracy, collecting payments when necessary, and conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. The role demands physical endurance, including lifting and moving between 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift and working in diverse weather conditions with frequent stops.

Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
