US Foods is currently seeking dedicated and professional Delivery Drivers to join their team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in the company’s operations by safely driving trucks to customer locations and ensuring that delivery schedules are met with precision. The role involves unloading products carefully using equipment like two-wheelers and pallet jacks and placing them in designated customer storage areas. Drivers must verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures to confirm receipt. Handling collections and payments when applicable is also part of the role, alongside providing excellent customer service to enhance the client experience. Regular performance of pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections is required to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
This position requires physical endurance, including the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing between 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly during each shift. Drivers should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and making frequent stops throughout their routes. The role requires registering with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a mandatory database by the Department of Transportation that monitors commercial driver’s license holders’ compliance with drug and alcohol program regulations. US Foods values qualified applicants who are at least 21 years old and have a valid CDL Class A license issued by their state of legal residence. A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry or three months in food and beverage delivery is required. Experience operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be mandatory in specific locations. Effective communication skills in English are necessary for interacting with customers, understanding traffic signs, and completing reports accurately.

- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops

- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience in any industry or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry

Job Duties
