The expected base pay for this role is $34.04 per hour, with overtime compensation and an eligible $5,000 retention bonus. As a US Foods driver, you will be essential to the delivery and customer service operations. You will be responsible for safely transporting products to customers, unloading items carefully using equipment such as pallet jacks and two-wheelers, and placing them in designated areas. Accurate delivery verification, including obtaining necessary signatures and handling payments when required, will be key to providing excellent customer service. You will also perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. This role demands physical stamina, as lifting and moving heavy products in varying weather conditions are routine. Also important is adherence to registering with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a Department of Transportation mandate ensuring all commercial drivers maintain required compliance.
