Job Description

Koch Trucking is a family-owned and driver-focused transportation company that has been operating since 1978. With a longstanding dedication to respect, excellence, safety, and innovation, Koch Trucking has grown into a full-service transportation and distribution leader. The company offers a variety of services, including Dedicated, Regional, Flatbed, Marine, and Specialized transportation, providing flexibility for drivers while addressing the unique shipping needs of its customers. As part of the larger Koch Companies, which includes six divisions, Koch Trucking benefits from a wide range of transportation services such as truckload freight hauling, logistics, warehousing, and truck/trailer leasing.

Koch Trucking is committed to maintaining a healthy business environment that supports both its employees and customers, enabling growth and success for all parties involved. This commitment is reflected in its company culture, which emphasizes respect and excellence in all operations. Koch Companies has garnered industry recognition, including being named one of the 2025 Top Companies for Women to Work for in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association and a Top 200 Workplace by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

The role currently open at Koch Trucking is for dedicated CDL-A Truck Drivers. This position offers an attractive average annual pay of $80,000, with top performers earning over $85,000 annually. A $1,500 hiring bonus is available, alongside competitive pay starting at 60 cents per mile based on experience. Drivers enjoy weekly home time and no-touch freight assignments, which means the freight does not require loading or unloading by the driver, promoting better work-life balance and reducing physical strain. Additional drop and stop pay can add an average of $10,000 annually to earnings.

All trucks in the Koch Trucking fleet are three years old or newer, with an average fleet age of just 16 months. The company’s Volvo 860 and Freightliner Cascadia trucks are equipped with driver-friendly features such as refrigerators, leather interiors, double curtain wraps, double bunks, built-in inverters, and more, ensuring a comfortable and efficient driving experience. Orientation is luxurious and fully paid, held in hotels located in Roseville, MN, and Appling, GA, providing a smooth onboarding process.

Koch Trucking also values its drivers' well-being by offering a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Drivers receive paid time off starting from their first day, along with three floating holidays per year. Additional benefits include a free iPad with a data package for staying connected with family and friends, pet and rider policy, a 401k plan with company match, and 24/7 road service assistance. Drivers are supported with a $3,000 referral bonus program, free access to driver lounges stocked with amenities like soap, shampoo, towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, laundry soap, pizza, and sandwiches, and advanced communication tools through the Rolling Strong driver app.

This position requires applicants to have a valid Class A CDL license and a minimum of one year of verifiable driving experience. Koch Trucking offers paid weekly wages and values the hard work and dedication of its drivers by providing competitive pay and an excellent benefits package. If you are a skilled CDL-A driver looking for a company that respects its drivers and offers a rewarding career, Koch Trucking invites you to apply now and start driving with a leader in the transportation industry.
