Job Description

Schneider is a leading transportation and logistics company renowned for its commitment to safety, reliability, and driver satisfaction. As one of the most trusted names in the trucking industry, Schneider offers a variety of driving opportunities tailored to meet the diverse needs of its drivers. With a foundation rooted in innovation and a culture that embraces diversity and inclusivity, Schneider provides its team members with access to state-of-the-art equipment, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment designed to help drivers thrive on the road and in their careers.

This particular role is for a Team Van Truckload truck driver position, ideal for professional truck drivers who prefer to work in pairs and enjoy the reliability of dry van trailers hauling 100% no-touch freight. Drivers in this role can expect to travel throughout all 48 contiguous United States, providing a dynamic and engaging schedule that keeps things interesting and covers a wide operational geography. Schneider actively encourages drivers to bring their pets along due to their Team Pet Policy, offering added comfort and companionship during long hauls.

The role provides competitive average weekly earnings between $1,400 and $1,700, combining mileage pay with hourly compensation while on duty but not driving. Weekly performance pay and weekly paychecks contribute to a stable income stream. Qualified experienced drivers are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, paid over 12 months during the first year, alongside paid orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the company. Additional financial incentives include potential pay increases of up to 6 cents more per mile and an annual bonus program that rewards up to 2% of gross annual pay.

Team driving at Schneider offers unique advantages compared to solo driving. The workload split between two drivers enhances safety and reduces fatigue, while enabling more consistent and longer hauls. The equipment Schneider provides emphasizes comfort and technology as their fleet includes Team-spec trucks averaging only 12 months of age, featuring automated transmissions, optimized idle times, upgraded driver seats, and modern amenities tailored to enhance driver experience.

This position comes with numerous benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company matching to support financial retirement planning, and unlimited referral bonuses to reward driver recommendations. Drivers also benefit from tuition reimbursement programs worth $200 per month (up to $7,000) for qualified candidates to pursue professional growth. The company provides robust military support, including credit for military experience and apprenticeship programs, reinforcing Schneider’s commitment to honoring veterans and their skills.

At Schneider, an inclusive and respectful workplace culture is paramount. The company values diversity across all dimensions including race, gender, age, ability, and background, ensuring equitable opportunities and fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and growth. Schneider complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and welcomes applicants to request accommodations during the application and hiring process.

This is a full-time company driver role, with home time every three weeks, providing a balance between work and personal life. Schneider's team driving opportunities combine competitive pay, extensive benefits, modern equipment, and a culture geared to support your success on and off the road. If you are looking to join a reputable, driver-focused company that offers career stability and advancement, this Team Van Truckload driver opportunity at Schneider is an excellent choice.
