Job Description
Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the fields of industrial gases, healthcare, and engineering. With an extensive history of operational excellence and commitment to safety and sustainability, Linde serves a variety of industries including manufacturing, aerospace, chemical production, and energy. As a major player in the industrial gas sector, Linde operates advanced infrastructure, including bulk delivery systems and technology-driven logistics to support seamless customer experiences.
The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role at Linde is a critical position within the company’s logistics division based in Phoenix, AZ. This role specifically focuses on the safe and efficient delivery of various industrial gases such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen to customers. Drivers operate tractor trailer tankers to transport these sensitive and potentially hazardous products, ensuring compliance with all safety standards, laws, and regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
Beyond transportation duties, the driver will be required to handle cryogenic tanks, hoses, and fittings with care, and conduct thorough inspections before and after trips to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness. An essential component of the role involves adhering to strict safety protocols during loading, unloading, and handling of cryogenic gases to prevent accidents or leaks. Drivers may also be tasked with delivering to government facilities or other high-security locations which necessitate extensive background checks and compliance with specialized safety and security protocols.
Linde offers competitive compensation for this position, with drivers averaging $130,000 annually. Employment benefits include weekly direct deposit of pay, 14/4 work schedule, paid time off and holidays, a company-paid pension plan, and matching 401k contributions. The company provides training for qualified drivers and pairs drivers without partners to ensure team success. Additional perks include daily meal per diem, paid 8-hour resets in company-provided hotels, annual boot reimbursement, and excellent benefits that start from the first month of employment.
This opportunity promises stable and consistent work with a clean working environment and respect for personal property, as each truck is assigned to a dedicated team only. Linde also encourages continuous learning and professional growth within the company to ensure drivers understand how their contributions impact the organization’s success. Overall, this role is ideal for dedicated drivers with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer service, looking for a rewarding career in industrial logistics and transportation.
