Job Description
CPC Logistics, Inc. is a reputable transportation and logistics company specializing in tailored delivery solutions for well-known brands and regional clientele. Among their prominent operations is the Walgreens Private Fleet, which is dedicated to ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to Walgreens stores across various regions. This company is well-regarded for its commitment to safety, reliability, and providing excellent work conditions for its employees. CPC Logistics prides itself on cultivating a diverse and inclusive work environment, fully supporting equal opportunities for every member of its team, thereby fostering a culture where all employees can thrive and contribute to the company’s success.
The current opportunity is for Class A CDL Team Truck Delivery Drivers to join CPC Logistics’ regional run operations based in Moreno Valley, CA, servicing Walgreens Private Fleet. This role involves operating tractor-trailers as part of a team to deliver merchandise to multiple Walgreens store locations. Drivers are compensated at a rate of $0.83 per mile per split, complemented by a starting hourly pay of $30.05 for all non-driving activities including store deliveries, with increases to the hourly pay rate occurring at milestones of 6, 12, 18, and 24 months. This structure underscores CPC Logistics’ commitment to rewarding driver tenure and experience. Weekend home time is a significant benefit, allowing drivers to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Beyond competitive compensation, drivers receive benefits from day one, including medical, vision, and dental coverage to support their health and well-being. The company offers a 401(k) with employer contributions, encouraging drivers to plan for their financial future. Paid vacation starts after six months of employment, helping employees recharge and maintain enthusiasm for their work. Additionally, there is a limited-time $5,000 sign-on bonus along with a driver referral bonus of $1,500 to $2,500, reflecting the company’s desire to attract and retain qualified, motivated drivers.
This role requires drivers to have a valid Class A CDL with a doubles endorsement, be at least 21 years old, and possess either one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience or six months of driving experience coupled with certification from an accredited CDL school. Successful candidates must be physically capable of lifting and handling products weighing up to 75 pounds and skilled in making tailgate deliveries using a conveyor roller system. Meeting all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements is mandatory to ensure safety and compliance. CPC Logistics promotes a supportive and dynamic work culture where safety, professionalism, and teamwork are paramount, making it an ideal employer for dedicated Class A CDL drivers looking for steady employment with substantial benefits and career growth potential.
