Job Description
Linde is a renowned global industrial gases and engineering company with a strong presence in various end markets, including chemicals and refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals. With projected sales of 34 billion USD in 2025, Linde is committed to making the world more productive through its innovative solutions, technologies, and services. The company plays a vital role by providing high-purity and specialty gases, life-saving oxygen for hospitals, clean fuel sources such as hydrogen, and advanced gas processing solutions to improve efficiency, support expansion, and reduce emissions for its customers.
The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver position is a critical role within Linde's logistics operations, requiring safe and efficient transportation of industrial gases via tractor trailer tankers to customer sites. This position primarily involves handling cryogenic liquids such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen. The driver must adhere strictly to safety protocols and comply with all federal, state, and company regulations regarding the transport and handling of hazardous materials. This includes conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring safe loading and unloading of cryogenic gases.
Linde offers a competitive annual salary range between $110,000 and $130,000 for this role, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding expertise and dedication. The position is structured to provide a consistent 5/2 schedule with back-to-back days off, offering drivers a well-balanced work-life routine. Additional incentives include weekly safety bonuses, paid weekly wages, and a rewarding team-driven work environment.
Beyond compensation, Linde extends a comprehensive benefits package to its drivers, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with up to 5% company match, and a company-paid pension plan at 4%. The company also offers 15 paid days off in the first year, paid holidays, training opportunities, and a clean and safe work environment. These benefits highlight Linde's dedication to employee well-being and professional growth.
The ideal candidate for the Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role holds a valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and possesses at least 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience or 2 years of tanker trailer driving experience. Team players willing to work collaboratively and uphold safety as a top priority will thrive in this role. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking a stable, well-compensated position in a respected global company committed to innovation, sustainability, and safety. By joining Linde, drivers will not only build their careers but also contribute meaningfully to health, technology, and environmental advancements worldwide.
