Job Description

Linde is a premier global industrial gases and engineering company with a strong commitment to enhancing productivity and sustainability worldwide. With 2024 sales reaching $33 billion, Linde excels in delivering innovative solutions that advance customer success across multiple industries such as chemicals, refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals. The company’s high-quality industrial gases are indispensable in numerous applications ranging from supplying life-saving oxygen to hospitals, producing high-purity specialty gases for electronics manufacturing, to providing hydrogen for clean fuel initiatives. Linde’s innovative approach includes advanced gas processing solutions that help customers improve efficiency, expand operations, and reduce emissions, underlining its dedication to environmental responsibility and industrial progress. The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver is a vital position within Linde’s logistics division, tasked with the safe and efficient delivery of industrial gases such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen to customer sites via tractor trailer tankers. This role demands adherence to rigorous safety protocols and regulatory compliance, particularly because the transportation of cryogenic and hazardous materials carries inherent risks requiring meticulous attention to detail and strict operational discipline. Drivers may be assigned to deliver products to government and other sensitive facilities, necessitating thorough background checks and compliance with enhanced security measures. This position requires a strong commitment to safety leadership, exacting standards, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service excellence.

The role involves performing essential vehicle inspections before and after trips, coupling and uncoupling trailers when necessary, and handling the connections for transfer hoses in a secure manner. Monitoring pressure and temperature during deliveries is critical to ensure the safe unloading of cryogenic gases, while maintaining accurate shipping documentation and logbooks in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies is mandatory. Identifying vehicle maintenance needs promptly and maintaining strong communication channels with customers helps support operational goals and customer satisfaction. Drivers are encouraged to continually expand their knowledge of Linde’s business operations and contribute to its continual growth and success. This full-time position offers stable employment with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee well-being and career development. Linde places a high priority on safety and strives to create a clean and safe working environment, reflected in its clean work policy and safety-first culture.
