With 2024 sales reaching $33 billion, Linde operates across a wide range of industries, including chemicals and refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals. The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role is a vital position within Linde’s logistics and operations team. This position involves the safe and efficient delivery of industrial gases to customer sites using tractor trailer tankers. The driver is responsible for handling cryogenic products such as liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, CO2, and hydrogen, often requiring delivery to locations with heightened security protocols including government facilities. Safety is a top priority due to the hazardous nature of the cargo and the specific regulatory requirements set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies. The role demands strict compliance with rules and a dedication to maintaining product integrity and security throughout the transportation process.

The driver’s daily duties include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, managing trailer coupling and uncoupling, and securely connecting transfer hoses to cryogenic tanks. Monitoring pressure levels and temperature readings during delivery ensures safe unloading practices, while maintaining accurate shipping documentation and logbooks guarantees regulatory compliance. The driver will also need to identify when vehicle maintenance and repairs are necessary to uphold safety and reliability standards. Strong interpersonal skills are important to build positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers, supporting Linde’s commitment to exceptional service.

This role offers a stable schedule of five days on and two days off, with a competitive benefits package including 401(k) matching, a pension plan, paid holidays, paid time off, monthly safety bonuses, and apparel reimbursements. The company fosters a 'Safety First' culture, encouraging employees to work in a clean environment and following all safety protocols meticulously. Ideal candidates will possess a valid Class A CDL, a minimum of two years of tanker trailer or three years of tractor-trailer driving experience, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is also required. Linde is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all applicants experience fair hiring practices.
