With sales reaching $33 billion in 2024, Linde serves a diverse range of markets including chemicals and refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals. Their products are integral to many critical applications such as life-saving oxygen in hospitals, high-purity gases for electronics manufacturing, and hydrogen for clean fuels. Beyond gases, Linde provides advanced gas processing solutions designed to support customer growth, improve efficiency, and reduce emissions, underscoring their dedication to making the world more productive and sustainable. More details about Linde’s extensive product and service offerings can be found on their website at www.linde.com.
The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver position at Linde is a vital role within the company’s logistics operations based in Ontario, CA. This full-time position involves the safe and efficient delivery of industrial gases such as liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, CO2, and hydrogen to customer sites using tractor trailer tankers. Drivers in this role are responsible not only for the transportation of these critical materials but also for complying with stringent safety standards, laws, and company protocols related to handling cryogenic products. The position offers an attractive wage range from $117,000 to $193,000 annually, with an average earning potential of $155,000, along with direct deposit payment on a weekly basis. Drivers also benefit from training opportunities to enhance their skills and adapt to team operations.
The role requires meticulously conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, handling trailer coupling and uncoupling, and managing connections and disconnections of transfer hoses to ensure secure and safe delivery. Monitoring pressure levels and temperature is essential to ensure safe unloading of hazardous cryogenic gases, maintaining accurate shipping documentation in line with Department of Transportation regulations, and identifying maintenance needs to ensure equipment remains in optimal condition.
This role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning. Drivers maintain professional partnerships with internal teams and external customers to meet business and customer needs. They contribute to the overall growth of the organization through ongoing knowledge and adherence to Linde’s operational standards. The company offers a clean, safe working environment with late-model equipment, uniform and boot reimbursements, and stable, consistent work schedules, including weekly home time with 2 full days at home and 15 days of paid time off. Additional benefits such as paid holidays, a matching 401k plan, and a company-paid pension plan enhance the overall employee experience.
Linde is committed to equal employment opportunities and ensures all qualified applicants are considered fairly without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, pregnancy, or any other protected category. Candidates motivated to advance their careers in a responsible, safety-focused environment are encouraged to apply and take the next step by joining Linde’s team as a Class A Bulk Tanker Driver.
