Job Description
Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation. With sales projected to reach 33 billion dollars in 2024, Linde delivers high-quality solutions, technologies, and services that help make the world more productive, sustainable, and safer. Serving diverse industries such as chemicals and refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals, Linde's industrial gases are crucial in applications ranging from life-saving oxygen in hospitals to high-purity gases for cutting-edge electronics manufacturing. The company is dedicated to supporting customer growth, enhancing efficiency, and reducing emissions through its state-of-the-art gas processing solutions.
The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role at Linde, specifically based in Magna, Utah, is a vital position within the company’s logistics operation. This employment opportunity promises an average earning of $148,000 annually, paid via direct deposit on a weekly basis, with additional benefits including 15 days of paid time off, paid holidays, a matching 401k plan with up to 5% match, a company-paid pension plan, newer late-model equipment, boot and uniform reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits available from the first of the month. The role offers stability with consistent work, a clean working environment, and the benefit of being home weekly with two full days off.
As a Class A Bulk Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for delivering compressed gases such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen. These deliveries require safe and efficient transportation via tractor-trailer tankers to customer sites that may include government facilities where heightened security and compliance protocols are mandatory, requiring successful background checks. The job demands a strong commitment to safety standards and meticulous attention to detail to manage cryogenic transportation effectively.
This role includes responsibilities like conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, coupling and uncoupling trailers, connecting and disconnecting transfer hoses, and monitoring pressure and temperature levels during deliveries. You will be expected to ensure all hazardous material shipping papers are compliant with Department of Transportation regulations, maintain accurate shipping documentation and logbooks, and identify timely vehicle repairs or maintenance needs. Building professional relationships with internal teams and external customers is important to achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction. Linde emphasizes continuous learning about its business operations, promoting growth for both the driver and the company.
Linde offers comprehensive training for qualified drivers, ensuring all team members are well-prepared to adhere to company standards and protocols. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and have substantial tractor-trailer or tanker driving experience. The company is committed to diversity and equal opportunities for all applicants, providing a fair and inclusive work environment.
If you are a responsible, safety-conscious driver looking for a rewarding career with competitive compensation and excellent benefits, the Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role at Linde presents an outstanding opportunity to advance your career while contributing to a global leader in industrial gases.
