Job Description

Action Resources is a renowned transportation company specialized in providing reliable and specialized trucking services across the United States. With a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and driver satisfaction, Action Resources has earned a reputation for excellence in the trucking industry. The company caters to a range of transportation needs with a focus on specialized tanker operations that involve hauling chemicals and hazardous waste safely and efficiently. The firm values its drivers as key contributors to its success and invests in their growth, safety, and overall wellbeing. The company operates with a flexible home time schedule, offering both over-the-road (OTR) and regional driving opportunities. Action Resources has multiple hiring locations nationwide, including Memphis, TN; Gadsden, AL; Louisville, KY; and Dallas, TX, among others.

This CDL-A Tanker Driver position at Action Resources offers unique opportunities for professional truck drivers who are experienced and safety-conscious. The role is designed for drivers who take pride in their qualifications, industry knowledge, and commitment to safe driving practices. Drivers in this role can expect to haul specialized loads, including chemicals and hazardous waste, making their work more challenging and rewarding than average freight hauling. The compensation is highly competitive, with the potential to earn up to $130,000 per year based on experience, along with percentage-based pay that ranges between 25% to 28% of the load. Additionally, drivers can earn up to 2% extra revenue pay when achieving certain performance milestones.

This role offers flexibility with home time, allowing OTR drivers to stay out one to two weeks at a time, while regional drivers enjoy consistent national routes with 3-4 nights away on the road. The company supports its drivers with accessorial, detention, and layover pay to ensure compensation for time spent beyond driving hours. Starting bonuses provide financial support during the transition period, with a total of $1,500 paid in two installments after orientation and the first month on the road.

Health and wellness benefits are comprehensive, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options. The company also offers a 401(k) plan with a company match to help drivers plan for their financial future. Paid holidays and generous paid time off (PTO) ensure drivers have time to recharge and balance work-life commitments.

Overall, this CDL-A Tanker Driver role is ideal for those looking to advance their trucking career with a reputable company that values experience, offers substantial earning potential, supports work-life balance, and prioritizes safety. If you're passionate about driving safely and interested in joining a team that rewards dedication and professionalism, Action Resources provides an excellent platform to grow your career with specialized freight operations in the trucking industry.
