Job Requirements

  • 21 plus years of age
  • pass employment testing
  • ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public
  • valid class A commercial driver license with acceptable driving record
  • physical ability to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40 to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • valid class A commercial driver license
  • doubles/triples endorsement preferred
  • ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway traffic signs
  • safe driving record that meets company insurability standards

Job Duties

  • operate a tractor-trailer to transport doubles and potentially triples between the Sysco facility and shuttle yards
  • unload and deliver various products to customer locations on assigned route schedules as needed
  • adhere to all safety and regulatory standards while operating vehicles
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance
  • communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries
  • manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
  • maintain accurate records of deliveries and routes
