Job Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years
Ability to pass employment testing
Proficiency in English to converse, understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and maintain records
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting company insurability standards
Ability to lift, push, or move freight averaging 40 to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds

Job Qualifications

Minimum age of 21 years
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with insurable driving record
Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public and understand traffic signs
Experience operating tractor-trailers or similar commercial vehicles preferred
Strong physical capability to handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and dispatch
Reliable work ethic and commitment to safety standards

Job Duties

Safely operate tractor-trailer to transport doubles and potentially triples between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards
Unload and deliver various products to customer locations on assigned route schedules as needed
Adhere to all safety and transportation regulations and company policies
Perform thorough vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers to coordinate timely deliveries
Handle freight weighing between 40 and 100 pounds, including lifting, pushing, or moving products
Provide excellent customer service while representing Sysco on delivery routes
