We are currently seeking dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers who will operate tractor-trailers transporting doubles and potentially triples between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards safely and efficiently. The role also includes duties such as unloading and delivering various products directly to customer locations on assigned routes when needed. As a CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco, you will play an essential role in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of products that keep our customers’ operations running smoothly. The position requires adherence to safety standards, proven driving competence, and the ability to handle physical demands, including lifting items averaging 40-60 pounds, occasionally reaching up to 100 pounds.

Job Requirements

21 plus years of age
must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
valid Class A commercial driver license with a clean driving record
doubles/triples endorsement preferred
ability to lift, push or move products weighing 40 to 60 pounds on average and occasionally as much as 100 pounds
physical capability to perform job duties safely and efficiently

Job Qualifications

valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
ability to read and speak English to converse with the public, understand highway signs, respond to inquiries, and complete necessary documentation
doubles/triples endorsement preferred
21 years of age or older
strong communication skills
reliable and safety-conscious work attitude

Job Duties

operate tractor-trailer to transport doubles and potentially triples between Sysco facility and shuttle yards
unload and deliver various products to customer locations on assigned route schedule as needed
adhere to all safety and driving regulations
perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
maintain accurate delivery records and reports
communicate effectively with dispatch and customer service teams
handle physical demands including lifting items up to 100 pounds
