Job Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Pass employment testing
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and understand highway traffic signs
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver license with a driving record that meets company standards
- Ability to lift, push or move products weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Must be dependable and safety-conscious
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver license
- Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway signs and communicate with the public
- Good driving record meeting company insurability standards
- Demonstrated ability to handle physical freight demands
- Strong reliability and time management skills
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport doubles or triples between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards
- Unload and deliver various products to customer locations on assigned routes as needed
- Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards
- Maintain accurate records and complete delivery paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Load and secure freight to prevent damage during transit
