Job Description

McLane is a leading supply chain services company with a rich heritage dating back to 1894. Over 130 years, McLane has built a wide-reaching distribution network that serves some of America's most beloved restaurant, retail, and e-commerce brands. The company prides itself on its long-standing reputation for reliability, safety, and innovation in the logistics industry. With a people-centered culture and a focus on embracing the latest technology, McLane ensures its operations remain at the cutting edge while supporting a workforce that is adaptable, dedicated, and safety-focused. The company offers strong, secure client relationships and stable employment opportunities for its team members, who value the supportive, inclusive environment McLane fosters. It maintains a commitment to diversity and equal opportunity, ensuring a respectful workplace for all employees regardless of age, race, gender, or background. McLane also emphasizes continuous training and career growth across its nationwide team, promoting long-lasting careers in the transportation and logistics fields.

The Shuttle Driver role at McLane is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of trailers between the distribution center and domicile locations. This position involves the pickup and delivery of full and empty trailers, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting the broader supply chain operations. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be entrusted with conducting thorough vehicle inspections, securing transported goods properly, and maintaining accurate logs following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role offers industry-leading pay and a schedule designed to maximize home time with a first shift dispatch. Additionally, McLane provides robust benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave accrual, and a 401(k) profit-sharing plan after 90 days. Extra perks such as tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, and employee assistance programs further enhance the overall employment experience.

McLane values drivers who prioritize safety, reliability, and adaptability. If you have a valid CDL-A license, at least one year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience, and meet company driving record qualifications, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to advance your career in a stable and respected company. McLane is committed to providing a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and recognizes the vital role drivers play in moving America forward. This position also requires proficiency in English to ensure clear communication and adherence to safety protocols. As a part of the McLane team, you will contribute to a legacy of excellence and join a company that continues to make significant impacts in the logistics and distribution landscape.
