Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- One or more years of commercial driving experience
- One or more years of foodservice distribution industry experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past three years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or possess valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates to move product cases ranging from 10 to 90 pounds

Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure compliance with company safety standards and report necessary repairs
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Immediately report all safety hazards and inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices of loaded products
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailers when needed
- Drive to deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules
- Unload products and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items, scan, and notify supervisor about order removals per company policy
- Verify delivery with customers and obtain required signatures
- Load customer returns onto trailers and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are properly locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete related paperwork
- Perform daily logging of hours of service in accordance with Federal DOT and company requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of tractor, loading dock, and trailers
- Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
