The company runs steady lanes across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas, emphasizing consistent reloads to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
The role available is for a CDL-A Regional Dry Bulk Driver who will primarily operate dry bulk pneumatic tankers. Drivers in this position are entrusted with driver-loading and unloading responsibilities, which makes attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols essential. This is a full-time job based in Woodway, TX, offering weekly pay averaging between $1,500 and $1,800. The position features a home-most-nights schedule, with typically only 2-3 nights spent away from home per week, making it appealing to drivers seeking work-life balance.
The drivers will be assigned trucks equipped with Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) and inverters to support technology use and comfort while on the road. Additional benefits include EZ Pass for toll management, Samsara Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) for efficient record-keeping, and forward-facing cameras to enhance safety and compliance. Drivers must live within 30 minutes of the terminal to take advantage of regular routes and timely reloads.
In this role, drivers will benefit from a stable work environment, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits. The company promotes a professional atmosphere with a focus on maintaining clean motor vehicle records and encouraging stable employment histories among its drivers. Woodway provides paid orientation and training at the Woodway terminal, ensuring that new hires are well prepared for their responsibilities. Health, dental, and vision coverages are available at affordable weekly rates, alongside life insurance and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
Overall, this opportunity suits experienced CDL-A drivers who are committed to safety, reliability, and consistent performance. The position provides a balance between home time and steady work routes within the region, advanced equipment for a comfortable driving experience, and robust benefits designed to support driver well-being and financial security. Candidates must meet several requirements including having a Class A CDL, a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), and a clean driving record. Woodway’s friendly work environment and commitment to driver satisfaction make it an excellent employer in the regional trucking industry.
