Job Description

Our client is a leading player in the auto logistics industry, specializing in the efficient transportation of new vehicles, fleet cars, and auction vehicles across local, regional, and long-haul lanes. This company prides itself on providing reliable, damage-free delivery services to prominent automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and other esteemed clients. As an established entity with a commitment to excellence, it operates with cutting-edge dispatch and back-office support systems, offering independent contractors an opportunity to integrate seamlessly into a thriving operational network.

They are currently expanding their network and seeking experienced Owner Operators who are independent contractors with a passion for maintaining high safety standards and ensuring damage-free deliveries. This role is ideal for driven individuals who own their truck and wish to leverage their expertise in car hauling within a supportive and rewarding environment. Offering the potential for substantial annual earnings ranging between $250,000 and $350,000 or more, the company provides financial incentives that include 80% plus contracted revenue for deliveries and additional compensation related to fuel costs.

As an Owner Operator, you will be entering into an operating agreement where you and the company act as partners - your business operates independently but complies with the carrier's customer and legal requirements. You'll have access to optional fuel discounts and insurance programs designed to optimize your operating costs and protect your assets. Furthermore, lease-to-own equipment options may be available at select locations, offering flexibility in acquiring the necessary truck and trailer to meet operational standards.

Your primary deliveries will involve transporting new vehicles from leading automotive OEM customers, moving fleet and auction cars, and on occasion, handling specialty or oversize units depending on your configured lanes. The role demands a professional approach to handling vehicles, ensuring timely and damage-free transport, while maintaining a clean and trustworthy reputation that aligns with the company’s standards.

Owner Operators must run a well-established business entity such as an LLC, corporation, or sole proprietorship and have the acumen to manage their operations independently but in coordination with the company’s directives. You must be at least 22 years old with a valid Class A CDL license and have a minimum of two years of commercial driving experience and at least one year specifically in car hauling. An acceptable motor vehicle record, passing a DOT physical and drug screen, and owning or obtaining a TWIC card are mandatory for this position. Fluency in English, both spoken and written as per FMCSA regulations, is essential.

Equipment requirements are rigorous to ensure safe and efficient delivery standards. You must operate a Class 7 or 8 semi-truck or truck-tractor equipped with a high mount or stinger mount fifth wheel; gooseneck hitches are not permitted for safety reasons. Your vehicle should have a high-capacity configuration capable of hauling six or more cars with strap tiedown technology that is defect-free. Trucks must be ten years old or newer, although older equipment may undergo review for approval. Your equipment must be visually clean, free of oil leaks, structural damage, or visual defects, and meet all original equipment manufacturer specifications for emission controls and fall protection. Additionally, your vehicle should pass a DOT inspection within the last 30 days, with all safety components such as ladders and access equipment maintained to the highest standards.

This position not only offers an independent contractor the chance to drive their own truck with a reputable logistics provider but also access to benefits that enhance business operations, such as dispatching support, potential fuel discounts, and insurance programs. It is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking to maximize their earning potential while partnering with a company dedicated to operational excellence and industry-leading standards.
