The CDL Class A Driver - Over The Road (OTR) position at Red Stag Logistics is a full-time role designed for experienced, dependable drivers who thrive on the open road and enjoy the demands of long-haul trucking. The compensation for this role is competitive, starting at $0.60 per mile, with an additional $0.05 per mile pay differential for routes operated within the Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States. Drivers can expect a guaranteed minimum bi-weekly pay of $2000, alongside other benefits such as breakdown, layover, in-field detention, and reset pay, ensuring financial stability and recognition for their efforts.

This role emphasizes no-touch freight, meaning drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading cargo, which enhances efficiency and reduces physical strain. The position typically involves hauling bulk food grade products, adding a layer of specialized handling that requires drivers to adhere to strict cleanliness and safety protocols. Drivers will follow a 2-week rotation schedule and operate within a 60/40 drop and hook system, which balances direct freight delivery with convenient trailer exchanges to optimize their routes and reduce downtime.

On average, drivers can expect to cover between 3500 to 4500 miles per week, working schedules that comply fully with Department of Transportation (DOT) Hours of Service regulations to ensure safety and legal compliance. Crawford, VA; Mt. Crawford, VA to Reading, PA; Reading, PA to New Wilmington, PA; New Wilmington, PA to Minster, OH; Littlefield, TX to Plant City, FL; Freeport, MN to Elma, NY; Canyon, TX to Jackson, WI; Canyon, TX to Granite City, IL; and New Ulm, MN to Sulphur Springs, TX. These lanes provide diverse driving experiences across Southern, Midwestern, and Northeastern states and allow drivers to gain exposure to different regions and road conditions.
