This role is for a delivery driver at FreshPoint Oklahoma City, classified under US1282 FreshPoint Oklahoma City, LLC. The position offers an hourly wage of $21.00 and is designed as a full-time, non-traveling role within the local 74108 zip code. The primary responsibilities center around running daily routes with frequent stops to deliver food products to customers. These drivers are essential in maintaining the cross-dock delivery model by efficiently picking up loaded trucks from a nightly delivery at a designated loading dock and returning empty trucks to the lot after completing their routes. This position requires the ability to load packages onto hand trucks and unload products at customer sites, making it a customer-facing role where professionalism and excellent communication skills are paramount.

The delivery driver will work from a domiciled location close to the customer marketplace and manages product delivery from a cross-dock model, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of shipments. The driver is also responsible for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. Tasks may also include occasional assistance with loading trucks, palletizing product, and other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers. Drivers must meet productivity goals and excellent customer service standards, effectively handling delivery discrepancies, customer complaints, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

This role demands physical endurance as drivers frequently lift items weighing from 1 to 75 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds, and work in various weather conditions. The ability to navigate stairs, docks, and ramps while sustaining frequent bending, twisting, and reaching tasks is essential. Candidates must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), preferably Class A, but a Class B license is acceptable, and must demonstrate the capacity to communicate in English sufficiently to engage with the public, comprehend traffic signs, and complete required reports and records. Successful candidates will show strong problem resolution skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and operational standards.

With an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and stellar customer service, FreshPoint Oklahoma City offers an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking a hands-on role in the thriving foodservice distribution industry. Working as a delivery driver here is not only about transportation but also about building lasting customer loyalty through dependable service. Join this team, and you will become part of one of the foodservice industry’s most respected companies, where your efforts directly contribute to the larger mission of delivering fresh, quality food to customers every day.
