The company operates a diverse fleet and leverages cutting-edge technology to ensure timely deliveries and safe operations. Schneider's culture emphasizes inclusivity, safety, and respect for all employees, contributing to its position as a top choice for professional drivers. With a focus on continuous improvement and employee development, Schneider offers competitive pay, robust benefits, and career advancement opportunities within the trucking sector.

This opportunity is for an Over-the-Road (OTR) Van Truckload Company Driver who will be responsible for transporting freight primarily within the Eastern 37 states. This full-time position offers a weekly pay range of $1,040 to $1,275, with home time every other week, making it ideal for drivers looking to balance consistent over-the-road driving with regular rest periods at home. The role revolves around predictable power lanes with high freight volume, enabling drivers to maximize their drive time and minimize downtime. Drivers are dispatched in advance, allowing for better planning and efficiency.

The job entails mostly no-touch freight, with 95% of shipments being drop-and-hook, which minimizes manual handling and accelerates turnaround times. Pay includes mileage compensation plus hourly pay for on-duty but non-driving periods, along with a new productivity incentive that rewards drivers up to an additional $0.04 per mile based on weekly mileage. Weekly performance bonuses and an annual bonus of up to 2% of annual gross pay further enhance earning potential.

Experienced drivers can benefit from a $6,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, while inexperienced drivers receive a $3,000 bonus on the same schedule. Paid orientation and paid time off after six months, along with six days of holiday pay per year, contribute to a comprehensive compensation package. Schneider also offers company-paid CDL training programs for those needing certification, highlighting their commitment to building driver careers from the ground up.

Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, unlimited referral bonuses, and up to $200 per month tuition reimbursement, with a lifetime cap of $7,000 for qualified drivers. The company credits military experience and offers Military Apprenticeship programs, demonstrating strong support for veterans. The fleet features leading equipment and technology designed with driver comfort in mind.

Schneider fosters an inclusive culture that respects and values diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability status, military background, and other attributes. This environment ensures equal access to opportunities and resources, fueling innovation and leadership development. The company complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and uses E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
