Job Description

Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company known for its commitment to innovative solutions and sustainable practices. With 2024 sales reaching $33 billion, Linde plays a pivotal role in various industries by providing high-quality gases and services that enhance productivity and contribute to environmental protection. The company’s products span a wide range of applications, including life-saving medical oxygen, high-purity gases for electronics manufacturing, hydrogen for clean energy solutions, and cutting-edge gas processing technologies that support efficiency and emissions reductions. Linde serves diverse markets such as chemicals and refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals, establishing itself as an industry leader dedicated to advancing customer success worldwide.

The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role at Linde is an integral position within the company’s logistics operations, focusing on the safe and efficient transportation of industrial gases to customer sites. Drivers in this role operate tractor-trailer tankers carrying various cryogenic and compressed gases including liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen. Safety and regulatory compliance are top priorities, given the hazardous nature of the products handled, and drivers must strictly adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations as well as company safety protocols.

This full-time position is based in Magna, Utah, and offers an attractive compensation package averaging $93,000 annually. Linde emphasizes a balanced work schedule, typically offering 5 days on and 3 days off, as well as competitive paid time off and holidays. The company promotes a clean, professional working environment with modern, well-maintained equipment. Drivers will receive comprehensive training to ensure familiarity with the specific handling requirements of cryogenic gases and tanker operations.

The driver’s responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the secure coupling and uncoupling of trailers and transfer hoses, and monitoring pressure and temperature levels throughout deliveries to safeguard the unloading process. Maintaining accurate and compliant shipping documentation is essential, as is cooperating closely with internal teams and external customers to meet operational goals. Drivers must consistently evaluate their equipment for maintenance needs and uphold professionalism in every aspect of their duties.

Linde provides employees with a strong benefits package including health, dental, disability, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching up to 5%, a company-paid pension plan, and opportunities for professional development. Weekly direct deposit payments and annual reimbursements for boots and uniforms further support the workforce. The company prides itself on offering stable and consistent work in a clean and safe environment.

Joining Linde as a Class A Bulk Tanker Driver is an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to safety, precision, and contributing to a company with a strong mission of making the world more productive and sustainable. This role not only includes competitive pay and benefits but also the chance to work with a global industry leader shaping the future of industrial gases and energy solutions worldwide.
