Currently, EVO is seeking dedicated and experienced CDL A Truck Drivers to join their team for local routes based in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time position with a stable and consistent schedule, running from Tuesday through Sunday between 1:30 AM and 11:00 AM, offering up to 48 hours per week. Drivers will enjoy the benefit of being home daily, which is especially appealing for those who value work-life balance. The role primarily involves handling U.S. Mail routes, which requires reliability, attention to detail, and excellent driving skills.
The compensation package is competitive, starting at $25.61 per hour with an additional Health and Welfare Pay (HWP) of $5.95 per hour, making the total $31.56 per hour. The HWP is paid up to 40 hours weekly to help fund company group coverage for eligible employees. EVO also offers paid orientation and quarterly safety training, ensuring all drivers are well-prepared and knowledgeable about safety protocols and company policies.

The position requires physical fitness to handle tasks such as lifting and maneuvering equipment, climbing in and out of trucks, and performing inspections on trailers. Job Requirements
- Must have held a valid CDL A driver's license for a minimum 1 years with relevant experience
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have a clean MVR/PSP
- Driver should be able to lift 50lbs over their head
- Driver should be able to bend and lift with legs, arms, and back
- Driver should be able to climb in and out of a truck with three steps pulling their own weight using three points of contact
- Driver should be able to physically board the catwalk behind the cab and remain stable while coupling their trailer to the cab
- Driver should be able to push and pull carts on wheels weighing over 100lbs
- Driver should be able to bend over while pulling a fifth-wheel lock-release where stress will be on the lower back
- Driver should be able to crank landing gear handles using arms, legs, and back
- Driver should be able to bend over and maneuver under a trailer to visibly inspect the trailer pin lock connection to the power unitfifth-wheel
- Driver should be able to drive/sit in a truck for a minimum of 4 hours at a time without a break
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year CDL A driving experience
- Valid CDL A driver's license
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP)
- Ability to perform physical duties related to loading, unloading, and vehicle inspection
- Strong communication and time management skills
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local routes
- Deliver U.S. Mail according to scheduled routes

- Perform regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load and unload mail containers, ensuring safe handling of freight
