The open position is for a CDL A Local Home Daily Driver, where the individual will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods using tractor-trailer or flatbed trucks. The role is full-time and offers competitive pay with a minimum daily rate of $270, resulting in a weekly minimum of $1350. Alternatively, drivers are compensated at $0.40 per mile plus $17.00 per stop, ensuring remuneration is calculated based on whichever option yields higher daily pay. Further incentivizing performance, drivers can earn up to a $400 monthly driver incentive bonus. Benefits commence as early as the first of the month following 30 days of employment, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with company-paid life insurance and disability. Additionally, the company offers a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match, three weeks of paid time off and holidays, and volunteer time to support community involvement.

Drivers in this role will be expected to maintain DOT-compliant travel logs, prepare and provide accurate documentation for deliveries and pickups, take care of vehicle presentation, and uphold a professional appearance by wearing assigned uniforms. Job Requirements

  • 21 years or older
  • One year verifiable CDL A experience - preferred
  • Must have a CDL A
  • Clean MVR
  • No more than 3 minor preventables in the last 5 years
  • No more than 1 major preventable last year
  • No DUI/DVI in the last 10 years
  • Must meet FMCSA requirements

Job Qualifications

  • One year verifiable tractor/trailer (flatbed) experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate
  • Valid CDL Class A driver’s license
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate logs

Job Duties

  • Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
  • Maintains DOT travel logs according to federal and state regulations such as a pre- and post-trip safety report, 7-day/60-hour log, fuel trip logs and fuel cards
  • Operates tractor trailer/flatbed truck to deliver/pick up cargo
  • Responsible for vehicle presentation
  • Maintain professional appearance: wearing assigned uniform
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager
