CDL A Local Route Driver

This role is for a CDL-A Driver responsible for transporting food and food service products safely and efficiently across intrastate and interstate routes, including local deliveries and over-the-road (OTR) assignments. Starting at $30.00 per hour with an additional $4,000 sign-on bonus (eligible for new hires only), this position offers a Monday through Friday schedule beginning in the early morning, allowing drivers to be home every night. The CDL-A Driver ensures timely delivery of products in good condition, functioning as the face of the company by building strong relationships with customers. Duties include comprehensive safety inspections of equipment and freight, adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, handling customer interactions professionally, loading and unloading products using proper equipment, and completing accurate documentation related to freight and hours of service. Drivers are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and security of their assigned vehicles and trailers.
