Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with a significant presence across various industries such as chemicals and refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals. With 2024 sales reaching $33 billion, Linde has established itself as a trusted provider of high-quality solutions, technologies, and services that drive customer success while promoting sustainability and environmental protection. The company offers a diverse portfolio that includes life-saving oxygen for hospitals, high-purity gases for electronics manufacturing, hydrogen for clean fuels, and state-of-the-art gas processing solutions designed to support customer expansion, efficiency improvements, and emissions reductions. Linde is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and innovative work environment, valued by employees and customers alike.
The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role at Linde is a critical position within the logistics operation that requires delivering industrial gases such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2, and hydrogen to Linde customer sites, including government facilities that demand strict security and safety compliance. This role involves the operation of tractor trailer tankers specialized in cryogenic transportation, emphasizing safety, regulatory adherence, and precision handling. The ideal candidate will have a strong dedication to safety and meticulous attention to detail, capable of conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, coupling and uncoupling trailers, securely connecting transfer hoses, monitoring pressure and temperature levels during deliveries, and maintaining detailed shipping documentation in accordance with DOT regulations. The position offers a competitive compensation package, with drivers averaging $126,000 annually, and includes paid training, making it accessible for candidates without prior tanker experience. Drivers enjoy a stable work schedule of five days on and two days off, with the benefit of returning home daily, paid holidays, matching 401(k) contributions, a pension plan, and comprehensive benefits starting from the first month after employment. Linde promotes a clean and safe work environment, uniforms with boot reimbursement, and a supportive team culture, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers who prioritize safety, reliability, and professional growth. By joining Linde, drivers contribute to a company that plays a vital role in multiple sectors, providing essential gases and solutions that make a positive impact on industry, healthcare, and the environment worldwide.
