Job Description
Linde is a global leader in the industrial gases and engineering sector, recognized for its commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. With 2024 sales reaching $33 billion, Linde operates at the forefront of technology and service delivery, catering to diverse end markets including chemicals and refining, food and beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals. The company’s industrial gases are vital in numerous applications — from life-saving oxygen used in hospitals to specialty gases essential in electronics manufacturing and hydrogen driving the clean fuel movement. Linde is dedicated not only to advancing its clients' success but also to supporting environmental sustainability through state-of-the-art gas processing solutions that promote efficiency and emissions reductions.
Joining Linde means becoming part of a respected organization committed to making the world more productive through high-quality solutions and services. The company prioritizes safety, reliability, and employee well-being while offering competitive compensation and robust benefits. Linde fosters a workplace where employees can grow professionally and personally, supported by educational opportunities and an inclusive culture committed to equal employment opportunities for all.
The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver role at Linde is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of industrial gases such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide (CO2), and hydrogen. This role requires operating tractor-trailer tankers to deliver these products to various customer sites, including government facilities that demand rigorous background checks and heightened security compliance. As a Bulk Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for adhering strictly to safety protocols and regulatory standards throughout the transportation and delivery process.
Key responsibilities include conducting rigorous pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; safely coupling and uncoupling trailers; connecting and disconnecting transfer hoses while handling cryogenic tanks; closely monitoring pressure and temperature during deliveries; managing hazardous materials documentation in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; and maintaining accurate records and shipping logs. Additionally, you will play an essential role in identifying the need for timely vehicle maintenance and repairs to uphold safety and reliability standards.
Linde emphasizes a clean and professional work environment, with drivers returning home daily, often benefiting from schedules with consecutive days off. The company offers attractive earning potential, with average annual salaries around $119,000 and pay ranges between $103,000 and $140,000, paid weekly via direct deposit. Drivers enjoy benefits such as paid time off (PTO) and holidays, company-paid training, annual boot reimbursement, provided uniforms, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, disability, and life insurance. Furthermore, Linde covers all fuel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and toll expenses, ensuring drivers experience comfort and reliability behind the wheel of the newest truck models.
This position requires a high level of dedication to safety, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professional relationships with both internal teams and external customers. Commitment to continuous learning about Linde’s business operations is encouraged to drive team and organizational growth. Join Linde as a Class A Bulk Tanker Driver to be a critical part of a global company that values your contributions and provides excellent support and resources to advance your career.
