Job Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and speak English effectively
- Physically able to handle freight weighing 40-60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for conversation, understanding traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and making reports
- At least 21 years of age
- Customer delivery experience preferred
- Hand cart/hand truck experience preferred
- Food and beverage industry experience preferred
- Consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional service
- Follow assigned route schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to all safety procedures and comply with state and federal driving regulations
- Lift, push, or move freight weighing 40-60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve issues and provide updates
