Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both spoken and written
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must have a flexible schedule to meet business demands
Job Qualifications
- 21 plus years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public and follow highway signs
- Physical capability to handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- Customer delivery experience preferred
- Experience using hand carts or hand trucks preferred
- Food and Beverage industry experience preferred
- Consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations
- Manually unload and deliver products at assigned locations following scheduled routes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by demonstrating a friendly and professional attitude
- Read and understand highway traffic signs and follow all safety and regulatory protocols
- Respond to official inquiries and complete all necessary reports and delivery records accurately
- Lift, push, or move freight weighing between 40 to 100 pounds repeatedly as required
- Work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
