Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signals
- Physical ability to lift and move freight weighing 40-60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when required
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public and understand traffic signs
- Physical capability to lift, push, or move freight weighing between 40-60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
- Preferred 1 year customer delivery experience
- Preferred 6 months hand cart or hand truck experience
- Preferred 6 months food and beverage industry experience
- Preferred 2 years consistent work history
Job Duties
- Operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Follow assigned route schedules to complete deliveries on time
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing friendly and professional service
- Understand customer operations to meet specific delivery needs and expectations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and reports as required
- Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements while driving and handling products
