Job Requirements

  • 21 plus years of age
  • Pass employment testing
  • License to drive valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company insurability standards
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • Ability to manually handle freight weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as business needs require

Job Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) meeting company insurability standards
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public and understand highway traffic signs
  • Pass employment testing
  • Preferred 1 year of customer delivery experience
  • Preferred 6 months experience using hand carts or hand trucks
  • Preferred 6 months experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Preferred 2 years of consistent work history

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations
  • Unload products manually including lifting, pushing, or moving items weighing on average 40-60 pounds and sometimes up to 100 pounds
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers using a friendly and helpful attitude
  • Follow assigned route schedules to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and during deliveries
