The role open at Sysco Metro New York, LLC is for a dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver. This position involves safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer to manually unload and deliver a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and other supplies, directly to customer locations following an assigned route schedule. The driver acts not only as a delivery professional but also as a critical touchpoint for the company’s customers, building strong relationships through positive and friendly interactions while becoming familiar with customer operations to meet their expectations effectively.

This full-time role does not require travel beyond the local delivery area, offering a stable work schedule with opportunities for overtime as business needs arise, including weekends and holidays. The hourly pay range is competitive, listed between $36.10 and $37.65 per hour, reflecting the skills and experience brought by the candidate. In addition, employees may be eligible to participate in the company’s incentive plan, providing additional earning potential based on performance.

The role requires physical capabilities to handle freight, often lifting or moving products weighing between 40 to 60 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
