Tasks include stacking and unstacking pallets, verifying deliveries, managing discrepancies, and handling customer interactions professionally. The driver must consistently meet or exceed the designated route times while ensuring that products are delivered intact and in accordance with customer requirements. This position also requires adherence to all safety rules, including performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and following written driver safety rules. Job Requirements
- Be 21 years of age or older
- pass employment screening
- hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company minimum standards
- have the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
- ability to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as business needs require
Job Qualifications

- have the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
- demonstrate flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- have preferred customer delivery experience of 1 year
- have preferred hand cart/hand truck experience of 6 months
- have preferred food and beverage experience of 6 months
- maintain a consistent work history for at least 2 years
Job Duties
- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
- runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
- unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas
- frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
- frequently reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart
- constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product and retrieving items from trailer
- verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- contact management for authorization when discrepancies are on invoices
- communicate all errors and returns
- call in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts)
- handle any customer complaints professionally
- handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules, and perform a pre-trip inspection
- perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures
