The candidate will also routinely participate in pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, and report any issues or discrepancies encountered during routes. Customer interaction forms an important part of this role, as drivers verify deliveries, obtain signatures, resolve complaints professionally, and communicate effectively with management when invoice discrepancies occur. Occasionally, drivers may assist in loading trucks, palletizing products, and performing other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
